Description
Skrinkle Cottage is a two-storey cottage featuring unpainted render that mimics ashlar stonework, topped with a slate roof that has close eaves. The right end has a 20th-century red brick chimney stack. The front includes an arched doorway on the left with a four-panel door and a four-pane fanlight above it. To the right of the door, there is a large horned six-pane sash window, and above, a four-pane sash window is centered on the first floor.
The interior was stripped out for renovation in 2001, revealing the end wall of No 6 on the left, which contains original corner stones now incorporated into the wall. On the right, there are two chimney breasts that appear to have been built against the end wall of St Mary's Cottage, connected by a timber lintel above the first floor. The cottage has a single deep roof.
