Description

Bellevue Court is a house that has been converted into flats. It features a slate-hung elevation with a roof behind a white-painted stuccoed parapet, which is hipped to the right. The building stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range that is set well to the right. The central arched doorway has a six-panel door and a plain fanlight, with panelled reveals. The doorcase has been renewed in the 20th century and features a gabled hood on piers with thin rounded shafts, replacing the former pedimented doorcase on slender pilasters. To the right on the ground floor, there is a small six-pane sash window. The upper floors each have two horned twelve-pane sash windows, although a previous description indicates there are no windows above the door. The left corner of the building has a curved white-painted stucco finish and features a twelve-pane sash window on both the first and second floors. The left side wall is windowless.

At the rear, facing Crackwell Street, the building has four storeys and three bays, although it has undergone significant renovations. On the third floor, there is a blocked central opening flanked by two sash windows with horns and no glazing bars in the end bays. The second and third floors have sash windows that are three panes wide, with a continuous sill band at the first floor level. The two northern sash windows on the ground floor have glazing bars and horns.
