Description
The stable and cart-shed range at Llain dates from the mid to late 19th century and is a small lofted structure. It is built from whitewashed rubble stone and has a slate roof. The building features a loft with a row of four dove-holes located under the eaves, above a slate shelf. On the ground floor, there is a door and a window to the stable on the left, while the right side has a broad elliptical arched cart-entry, all of which are topped with yellow brick heads. This building is included for its group value as part of an unusually complete small 19th-century farm group, representing a type that is becoming rare in the region.
