5/13 Stables and cartshed approximately 20m to west of Upper Battlescombe Farmhouse

GV II

Stable with loft and cartshed. Early C19. Random rubble limestone; Welsh slate roof. Stable with loft over; cartshed attached at west end. Central stable doorway with loft hole over; further doorway to left, shuttered opening to right, all with timber lintels. Stone steps at east end with projecting nosing to landing; loft doorway with timber lintel and plank door. Cartshed has weatherboarded west gable end with plank doors below. Forms part of group with farmhouse (q.v.) and barn (q.v.).
