Description
This building is a stable with a loft and a cartshed, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone and has a Welsh slate roof. The stable features a central doorway with a loft hole above, a further doorway to the left, and a shuttered opening to the right, all of which have timber lintels. At the east end, there are stone steps with a projecting nosing leading to a landing, and a loft doorway with a timber lintel and a plank door. The cartshed has a weatherboarded west gable end with plank doors below. This structure is part of a group that includes the Upper Battlescombe Farmhouse and a barn.
