Description
Plas is a two-storey building dating from the 18th century, constructed from colourwashed rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It features a larger colourwashed stone stack on the left side. The front of the building has three windows, offset to the right. On the first floor, there are 12-pane sash windows on the left and in the centre, along with a tripartite sash window with a configuration of 4-12-4 panes on the right, all with timber lintels. The ground floor has a 12-pane sash window on the left, a 20th-century door in the centre, both of which are adorned with stone voussoirs, and a 20th-century tripartite sash window on the right that mimics the one above it, set in rendered cement-block infill that replaces a former shop window and is lined to imitate rubble stone. To the left, there is a single-storey rendered addition with a brick side-wall stack, featuring a 12-pane window and a small 4-pane window. At the back of the main range, there is a parallel range with an external east-facing chimney breast, although the stack has been removed, suggesting it may be part of an older building.
