Description
Tal-Fedw is a two-storey building with colourwashed cob walls resting on a colourwashed rubble stone plinth, topped with a slate roof and featuring stone end stacks. The main façade has a three-window range that is offset to the right. The upper floor includes 9-pane square windows with slate sills, while the lower floor has 12-pane sash windows, also with slate sills. There is a ledged door at the entrance.
To the right, there is an addition that is at right angles to the main structure. This addition is made of colourwashed stone, has a slate roof, and a brick stack at the north end. It is two storeys high with a two-window range, and the windows have brick heads. The upper floor features two 4-pane sashes, while the ground floor has a 2-panel door and an altered window.
Inside, the ground floor boasts four oak ceiling beams and chamfered joists. There is a 6-panel door leading to the parlour and a plank door to the kitchen. A stick baluster stair leads to the first floor, which has oak collar trusses with the feet scarfed onto oak wall-posts, and the collars are bolted.
