Description
Felin Fach is a building constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and topped with slate roofs. It has an L-plan layout, featuring a lofted main northern range that runs from west to east and a single-storey southwest wing. The main range includes a broad cambered-headed doorway at the west end, along with a large arched loft-light above it, both adorned with painted stone voussoirs. There are later doors and boarding present. The northern side of the building is built into a bank and features double doors leading to the first floor. At the eastern end, there is an iron waterwheel, approximately 3 meters in diameter, made by Eagle Foundry in Aberystwyth.
The southwest range has a western side that is mostly 20th century, with double doors extending out to align with the western gable of the main range, and a single door to the right, all supported by blockwork piers. The original rubble wall at the southern end has two windows beneath a single timber lintel, and there is a brick lean-to at the rear.
