Description

Cringae Mawr is a two-storey building constructed of rubble stone and topped with a slate roof featuring end stacks. The stack on the right is made of stone, while the larger stack on the left has been rebuilt in brick. The facade is three windows long and is slightly offset to the right, showcasing cambered-headed 12-pane sash windows with stone voussoirs. The central entrance is set within a 20th-century stone porch. There is one window located in the left end wall. At the rear, there is an outshut that includes a central 6-pane window beneath the eaves and a half-glazed door. An additional northwest rear wing has been added, which features a brick stack at its northern end.

Inside, the left front room contains a large fireplace with a timber lintel and oak floor joists. The staircase, dating from the 19th century, features turned newels.
