Description
The Farmhouse, located between the first and second Courts of Noyadd Trefawr, is a 17th-century building constructed of rubble stone and colourwashed on the south side, topped with a slate roof featuring two ridge stacks with slate tabling. The farmhouse is one and a half storeys high.
The south front has a central plank door set within a gabled stone porch, with a flat head above the entry beneath a plastered gable. There are square windows on either side of the door: a pair of sash windows to the left and a 12-pane fixed window to the right, along with a pair of casement windows at the far right. The west end, built into a bank, features a pair of casement windows.
On the north side, there are pairs of casement windows on each floor to the left, with the upper window located under the eaves. This side also has a large stone lean-to with a door at the eastern end, triple casement windows to the south, and two 20th-century stone dormers with casement pairs above. To the right, there is a stone dormer gable with a casement pair that breaks the eaves, offset to the left of a ground floor casement pair with a timber lintel. Additionally, to the right of the right stack, there is another pair of casement windows and a door, both situated under the eaves. The eastern end features a loft casement pair.
Inside, there is a large fireplace with a timber lintel in the room to the east of the entry.
