Description
Parcau is a main house with a rendered one and a half storey front, accompanied by a cottage or cowshed that features a painted rubble front. The roofs are covered with slate, laid in diminishing courses, and there are rubble end chimney stacks on the main house topped with slate tabling. The house has a three bay front that is offset to the left, with two single pane attic windows that rise to the eaves. The ground floor has late 19th century sash windows, originally designed with six panes, though the upper glazing bars have been removed, and there are no sills. A gabled porch has been added to the center, featuring a boarded inner door. To the left, there are single storey 20th century additions with corrugated roofs.
To the right is a former second cottage that also has a three bay front, offset to the left. It features a central boarded door, with an early 20th century four-pane window to the left and a six-pane window to the right, both with stone voussoired heads. There is a wooden lean-to against the right end of this cottage.
Inside the main house, there is a boarded door leading to the left room, which has thin sawn joists and a modern fireplace. The former cottage has a collar-truss roof and a channeled flue in the right-hand wall, indicating the presence of a former hooded fireplace.
