Description

No 1 Spring Gardens is a pair of terraced houses dating from the 19th century. They are constructed of roughcast and stucco, topped with a slate roof and featuring two stone chimneys. Each house has two storeys and a two-window arrangement, with original hornless 12-pane sash windows. The ground floor on the right side of each house includes a door with an overlight above it. The stucco has raised surrounds with keystones, a sill band, and angle strips. The stucco on No 1 is unpainted, while No 2 is painted. Both houses have bracketed flat eaves.
