Description

This is a terrace of three houses built in brown squared stone with a slate roof and three stone chimneys. Each house is three stories tall and has two windows. The upper windows are small with six panes, while the other windows are twelve-pane sash windows. The ground floor doors, located on the left, have overlights above them. The houses feature painted slate sills and cambered door and window heads with stone voussoirs, along with bracketed eaves. Number 2 has had its two upper windows blocked and a large 20th-century dormer added. Number 1 has a small gabled addition on its end wall.

This attractive stone terrace showcases fine quality masonry and was likely built shortly after 1847, predating Number 4, which is slightly taller and has more precise masonry. The terrace has seen little alteration, aside from the changes at Number 2.
