Description

21 St Marys Street is a pair of houses built with roughcast and stucco, featuring a slate roof and brick end stacks, with the right house rebuilt on a stone base. The buildings are three stories high and have a four-window range of sash windows. Number 21 retains original small-paned windows, with 6-pane upper windows, 12-pane first floor windows, and a tripartite 4-12-4-pane window on the left side of the ground floor. Number 22 has later 19th century or 20th century plate glass sashes, generally with 4-pane windows, but also includes a 2-4-2-pane tripartite sash. There are two central doors; Number 21 features a modern door with an original overlight and no doorcase, while Number 22 has all modern door features.
