Description
19 Hamilton Terrace is a pair of houses built around 1800, featuring roughcast and stucco exteriors with imitation slate roofs. They are three stories tall, but have a much lower eaves height compared to the neighboring houses. Number 19 has a two-window range, while Number 20 has a three-window range, both with bracket eaves.
Number 19 displays a dry-dash finish with plain stucco surrounds around the openings. The upper floors have aluminium sash windows, and there is a large 20th-century shop window on the left side of the ground floor, with an original arched doorway and fanlight to the right, featuring a 20th-century door. In front, there are later 19th-century ornate cast-iron railings on a low wall.
Number 20 is also roughcast and has a two-window arrangement on the upper floor and a three-window arrangement of plate glass sashes on the first floor. The ground floor features a lean-to porch on the left and two similar windows.
