Description
The garden seat located at the foot of the avenue to the southwest of the back lawn at Trawsgoed House is a curved bench made of ashlar stone. It features carved winged lion ends and is supported by a low centre pier that is intricately carved with acanthus leaves. The back of the bench has a curved design with a moulded cornice and finely carved mirrored acanthus scrolls on either side of a central lion-mask. The backrest is panelled with two long panels, each containing a moulded roundel in the centre and half-roundels at each end. The central roundel displays an armorial shield.
