Description
This is a limestone garden bench located on the west side of the terraced garden at Vaynol Old Hall. The bench features a seat supported by compressed scrolls, with a similar support in the center. The ends of the bench are fluted and curved, and the seat has a carved nosing. The back of the bench is decorated with cherubs, a lion, and pipes, among other ornamental details.
