Description
Butler's House is located within a walled garden opposite Dairy Cottage. The building is constructed of rubble stone with some ashlar dressings and features a slate roof. It is two storeys tall and has an 'L'-shaped plan. The front facade includes three windows, each with distinctive hipped hoods that rise above the eaves. There is a central four-panelled door with an overlight, and the windows are four-paned horned sash windows, including a canted bay window on the left side. The south boundary wall of the garden is attached to the right gable end of the house. At the rear, there is a cross range that is similarly detailed. Additionally, there is a service range that steps down beyond the cross range and returns at a near right angle to meet the west wing of Vaynol Old Hall.
