The arched wall to the forecourt of Vaynol Old Hall is a Grade II* listed structure made of rubble stonework, featuring freestone voussoirs that form a wide 3-centred arch over the pathway in front of the Hall. The wall measures approximately 11 meters in length and 3.3 meters in height. It is situated adjacent to the west wing of the Old Hall and the corner of the south porch of the Chapel of St Mary. Notably, the copings on the wall appear to be missing.
