Description

Avenue Lodges features a garden bench made of limestone ashlar, likely designed by E.W. Godwin around 1868. The bench has a tall, deep back adorned with incised panels and a moulded cornice. The seat is flanked by volute arms. This bench is included for its group value within the entrance screen.
