Description
This garden seat, located 70 meters east of Ascot Place, dates from the 19th century and is made of stone. It has a rectangular shape with swept ends and is supported by four clawed feet in the center, with mythical beasts at each end. The backrest features intricate carvings and decorations including shells, garlands, and scrolls. It has a dentilled capping adorned with cable ornament. Square pillars at the ends are topped with small urns. This seat is part of a garden that is listed as Grade II* in the Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Interest in England.
