Greenhouse garden and former cattleshed and yard, forming part of large kitchen garden. Enclosing walls are C18, wall enclosing cattleyard is late C19. North wall is the rear of Bothy Cottage in west yard (qv). East wall separates the Greenhouse Garden from the East walled garden (qv) and is approximately 3 metres high. The south wall forms part of the Estate Office and adjoining tower (qv). The north and east walls have extensive ranges of lean-to, late C19 greenhouses attached to them. A lean-to cattleshed of 11-bays is built against the west wall. The roof is a single purlin with struts from long ties supported on a plate within the wall on one side and oak posts on the other side which is open, facing east. The west wall is approximately 3 metres high with 39-bays of blind openings with segmental heads and forms part of the long wall running north-south and includes the Estate Office and adjoining tower; the Bothy Cottage and west yard, (qqv). The Greenhouse garden together with the East walled garden and the east and west yards, adjoin the Stable buildings (qv) and form part of the former large kitchen gardens to Ascot Place.
