Description
No 2 The Cross is a one and a half storey croglofft cottage built in a two-unit plan. The walls are painted rough-cast, which is said to be earth built. The gabled roof is covered with small slates and features two rough-cast small end chimneys. The front (south) elevation has a boarded door in the center, flanked by a small two-light casement window on each side. Above, there are two small gabled eaves dormer windows that contain 20th-century casements. The east end has a front wall that is set back for the side of the chimney, and it also has the truncated remains of the chimney from the demolished No 1, which abuts to the east.
