Description
Llangorwen Cottage is a small cottage built from lime-washed rubble-stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring stone end stacks. The roof has flush verges and eaves, and there is a continuous rear outshut. The cottage is one and a half storeys high and has a two-room layout with an entrance at one end.
The front (west) elevation includes a small bay window with a 2-4-2-pane configuration set on a whitewashed stone base, located to the right of the center, and a small 4-pane casement window to the left. The south gable end features a boarded door with a glazed panel and a cambered head to the right, along with a small 2-pane casement window above it. There is also a small 4-pane casement in the end wall of the outshut to the right.
On the north end, there is a slated lean-to that was formerly a byre, which connects to a bridge parapet. The rear outshut has a central 3-light casement window. Additionally, there is a small 6-pane catslide dormer on the right side and two small roof-lights from the 20th century to the left.
The main chimney, located to the right of the entry, has been altered, and there is a stair positioned in front of the entry. A door leads to the parlour at the north end.
