Description
No 3 The Cross is a small, one and a half storey croglofft cottage dating from the 18th century. It features painted random-rubble walls and a roof covered with small slates, which has flush eaves. The cottage has a stone chimney at the left end, shared with No 4, and this chimney has deep flaunching above it. The front of the cottage has a boarded door that is slightly to the right of centre, with a wall-plate lintel above. To the left of the door is a 20th-century enlarged casement window, while to the right is a small 20th-century casement window set in an earlier opening.
