Description

The entrance gates to Ty Mawr are notable for their tall cast iron square piers, which feature moulded plinths and cornices. Each side of the piers has a sunken panel that includes blank cusping at the top. The gates are topped with cast iron finials that have four foliate arms and a leafy crucifix finial. The paired cast iron gates also have tri-leaf finials, which are present on the dog-rail as well.
