Description

The main gates to Pentre-mawr are a set of ornamental wrought-iron gates featuring seven cross-braced bars. They are mounted on stone piers, with curving walls on either side that end in matching outer stone piers. The piers are made of plain ashlar stonework topped with simple pyramid-shaped copings. The walls are also constructed from plain ashlar and have a flat coping that slightly projects.
