Description

The gates and gate-piers at the main entrance to Plas Llangattwg date from the 19th century. They feature a pair of gates made up of rows of wrought iron circles, with the upper tier having open tops that are twisted. The ironwork is painted white. The gates are attached to dressed stone piers that have swept pyramidal copings. Additionally, masonry boundary walls extend from the piers.
