Description

This is a pair of attached cottages, one of a terrace of three, dating to the 18th century. They stand to the south of Glendower. Both cottages have slate roofs, with the upper cottage featuring slatted bargeboards. A shared rubble chimney stack rises between Glendower and the neighbouring Commercial Inn, featuring stone capping. The left-hand cottage, Glendower, has a three-bay roughcast facade, set slightly to the right, with a smooth rendered plinth. It has small, twelve-pane hornless sash windows with painted slate sills, and a 20th-century front door. The upper cottage, situated between Glendower and the Commercial Inn, has a painted rubble facade also offset to the right. All openings are currently blocked with concrete. The upper floor has two windows with timber lintels and stone sills, while the ground floor windows and the central door have arched stone heads.
