Description

The entrance to Merthyr Mawr House features a 'Telford' style gate painted white. This gate has wrought-iron bars that extend from the hinges in a sunburst pattern. On either side of the gate are round cast iron posts topped with ball finials. The iron piers are flanked by square piers made of coursed, tooled stone, each capped with a swept pyramidal top.
