Description

This is a late 18th-century gateway leading to Firgrove House. The entrance is defined by two square white stone posts that support cast-iron gates. The gates have moulded panels, a plain fillet at the top, and are topped with a ball finial, all resting on a plain plinth. Cast-iron rails connect the main posts with smaller, plainer outer posts.
