Description
Cwm Canol is a farmhouse built from rubble stone, featuring tooled stone dressings and a slate roof with deep eaves supported by paired eaves brackets. The building has brick chimneys with four shafts on stone bases. It is two storeys high and has a three-window front. The windows are framed with tooled squared stone surrounds, stone voussoirs, and slate sills, with twelve-pane sashes on the upper floor and 16-pane sashes on the lower floor. Above the central arched doorway, which is also made of tooled stone and has a half-glazed door with a plain fanlight, there is a date-stone marked '1852'. The end walls of the farmhouse feature deep gable verges with brackets. The left end wall is slate-hung, except for the end wall of the outshut on the left side. The rear of the building is made of whitewashed rubble and has a low outshut roof, with 20th-century windows and a lean-to porch.
