Description

The barn at Lawn Farm is a weatherboarded timber-framed structure dating from the 18th century. It features a stone L-shaped gable end on the west side and a gabled end made of corrugated iron on the east side, topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn has replaced full-height wagon-bay doors, along with three boarded doors on the left side and three loft openings. At the rear, there are full-height wagon-bay doors, and to the right of these doors is a weatherboarded outshut that includes two boarded doors. On the left side, there is an open-sided lean-to supported by timber posts.

Inside, the barn has a six-bay layout with two types of trusses: one type features a tie beam with pairs of raking struts, while the other consists of a tie and collar beam with irregularly placed posts.
