Description
Upper Hall is a late-Georgian style farmhouse that stands three storeys tall and features a lower rear wing, creating an L-shaped plan. The main section of the building is roughcast and includes quoins and architraves, topped with a hipped slate roof that has tall square stacks at the rear. The rear wing is constructed from rubble stone and has a gabled slate roof with an end stack.
The front of the house is symmetrical with three bays, featuring a central panelled door that is topped by a two-pane overlight. The windows on the lower and middle storeys are 12-pane hornless sashes, while the upper storey has square 6-pane sashes. The end walls also contain 12-pane sash windows in the lower and middle storeys only. The three-window rear wing has had its middle storey windows replaced with ones under segmental heads, and there is a single replaced rectangular window above. Additionally, there is a lean-to added across the lower storey, which has a carved stone head positioned above it.
