Description
The barn at Pentrusco is a timber-framed structure that is clad in weatherboarding and has been partly rebuilt using brick and blockwork. It features a corrugated iron roof. On the right side of the barn, there are double boarded doors located to the right of the center. To the left side, which has been rebuilt in blockwork, there is a door and two metal-framed windows. The barn includes six loft openings, three of which still have their shutters. The right gable end has two boarded doors that have been inserted, along with a loft opening. At the rear, there are two 20th-century corrugated iron lean-tos and a loft door located to the left of center. Although the barn was not inspected, the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales recorded a tie-beam dated 1678.
