Description

Halfway House is a 2-storey building with a symmetrical roughcast front featuring three windows. There is an additional storey at the rear. The slate roof has a low sweep to the rear with a dog-leg profile, boxed eaves, and plain bargeboards, along with two brick-end stacks. The front has paired 12-pane iron-frame casements and a pitched roof porch at the centre, which has a timber and glazed inner door with a rectangular fanlight. A date stone below the eaves is inscribed with "TP 1848".
