Description
Norbury Lodge is a single-storey building with an attic, constructed from coursed rubble and topped with slate roofs. It features one blue brick chimney stack and one rendered brick stack. The main roof is L-shaped and has a two-window front. The gable on the left side has cusped bargeboards and a pendant, although the finial is broken. It includes three-light casement windows, with small panes in the upper floor. To the right, there is a similar attic window located in a flat-roofed dormer that is slate-hung. The roof has a dog-legged shape that extends over a later entrance extension, which has modern rendering at the base.
The front of the building features a door with sunburst glazing next to a three-light window with leaded panes, and there is a similar two-light window around the corner. The northeast gable has a Gothic attic window with similar bargeboard detail that continues down over a lean-to. On the ground floor, there is a two-light window with a Tudor label, and additional two-light windows can be found on the longer southwest side and the northwest (rear) side, which also has similar gable detail that retains its finial. A tall chimney stack is located at the rear of the building.
