Description
Golden Oak House is a nearly symmetrical, two-storey building with a three-window front made of rubble, featuring Gothic-inspired window designs. It has a slate roof and a brick chimney stack on the right, accompanied by a rubble chimney breast. The windows have lintels with keystones, consisting of small panes with central casement openings, while the left-hand windows are fixed lights. The central entrance is topped with a bracket hood over a half-glazed door.
To the left, there are two small-pane sash windows with voussoir lintels. A rubble wall on the right screens a garden that once had an adjoining range, as indicated by the lines of a lower roof pitch. There is one blocked attic opening, a rubble lean-to at the rear, and a modern extension.
