Description

Pont Ysgawrhyd is a large bridge constructed of large squared rubble. It dates to an unknown period. The bridge features three segmental arches built with raised, V-jointed voussoirs and raised keystones. A plat band and orthostatic parapet are constructed of scabbed and margin dressed stone. Two water piers are present, each with a radiused cutwater upstream, rounded tail, and weathered copings. To the northwest, two land arches span the flood plain, with a cattle creep set against the southern abutment.
