Description
The gate piers and attached walls at the entrance to Cefndyrys date from the 19th century. The square gate piers are made of tooled stone and feature a narrower upper stage of freestone that is carved with heraldic shields and topped with pyramid caps. These piers are flanked by concave walls made of rubble stone, which have coping at the top. The outer terminal piers are also square and have pyramid caps. On the right side, the wall continues and meets Cefndyrys Lodge.
