Description
Cefndyrys Lodge is a T-shaped, two-storey lodge built from coursed rubble on the lower storey and coursed rock-faced stone on the upper storey. It features tooled quoins and dressings, along with a continuous moulded band above the lower-storey windows. The hipped slate roof has overhanging eaves and two coursed stone ridge stacks.
The central bay is gabled and includes a gabled porch with a keyed round arch, benches, and a panelled door set under a lintel. The side walls of the central bay have 12-pane hornless sash windows. The outer bays have similar lower-storey windows, while the upper storey features larger 12-pane horned sashes. The left end wall has an inserted 12-pane horned sash window that cuts through the band above window level. At the rear, made of rubble stone, there is a 12-pane horned sash window in the upper left, a 2-pane sash window in the lower storey, and two small added lean-tos.
