Pencerrig Lodge

Pencerrig Lodge is a Gothic-style lodge built in the 19th century, featuring one and a half storeys. It consists of an entrance range and a parallel rear wing that is offset to the left side. The exterior is finished with roughcast walls and topped with a steep slate roof that has cusped barge boards and pendant finials. There is a single chimney stack with a diagonal shaft. Above the windows, a continuous moulded freestone band runs along the building.

The front of the lodge faces the former drive to the main house and includes a porch canopy supported by dwarf walls, along with a half-glazed door. This entrance is flanked by blocked windows that are topped with hood moulds. The right gable end, which faces the road, features a two-light canted bay window with marginal glazing and triangular heads, accompanied by a similar window in the attic. To the right, the wider gable end of the rear wing also has a similar attic window. The rear of the lodge includes a three-light window under a hood mould.

On the left gable end of the entrance range, there is another two-light bay window, although the marginal glazing has been replaced, and it retains an original attic window. Set back to the left, the rear wing has been extended in a style that matches the original design. The building has not been inspected.
