Description
Plas Bach is a lodge built in a picturesque Gothic style, featuring a roughly T-plan layout. It has two storeys in the main range and a single-storey short range, with a late 20th-century single-storey lean-to attached to the north gable end of the main range. The exterior is made of rendered rubblestone, with plastered quoins, dripstones, and window surrounds. The roofs are slate, adorned with cusped, fretted bargeboards and carved pointed finials at the overhanging verges.
On the south elevation, there is a gable to the left, which includes a two-light wooden mullioned and transomed window on the first floor, situated above a slate-roofed bay that features a four-light wooden mullioned and transomed window at the front and extending to the sides. A prominent rebuilt lateral stack is located to the east at the junction with the short range. The entrance is through a multi-paned half-glazed door leading to a lean-to porch positioned in the angle between the ranges, which has a single-light window on the side. Additionally, there is a three-light wooden mullioned and transomed window on the gable end of the short range. All windows have multi-paned sections above the transoms, with plain glazing below.
The interior was not inspected at the time of the survey.
