Description

Pont-rug is a bridge constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone, featuring a coped parapet, piers, and abutments. It has a wide single-span segmental arch over the river, made with ashlar voussoirs and an arch-ring. The bridge extends as a causeway to the south-east, which includes an additional semi-circular arch over the former railway.
