Description
Castle Hill Lodge is a single-storey lodge built from whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a slate half-hipped roof and featuring a central whitewashed rubble chimney. The building is double-fronted, with hornless four-pane sash windows on either side of a central four-panel door that has a sloping hood supported by plain brackets. The openings are adorned with stone voussoirs and slate sills. The right end wall has a similar sash window, while the left end features a lean-to and a small 20th-century window positioned under the eaves.
At the rear, there is an added matching wing on the left, which has a roof hipped to the west end and includes uPVC windows on the west and south sides. The rear door also has a sloping hood, with a small window on each side. The lodge has a two-room plan with a central chimney, with one bedroom located in the loft to the left and another in the added rear wing. Inside, there are six-panel doors.
