Description

Ty Cnwc is a house that features a timber frame clad in painted weatherboard, standing on a rendered brick base. It has a slate roof and a tall red brick chimney on the west roof slope. The building is single-storey and gable fronted, with broad end gables that have decorative panels adorned with quarter circles. The main part of the house has vertical boarding above and horizontal boarding below the window sill level.

The front of the house has a three-light window on the left and a two-light window on the right, which may have originally been a three-light window but was altered for a lean-to porch that was added against the original gabled porch, which features bargeboards and a west side entry. On the left side, there is a single-light window to the right, two three-light windows in the center, and a similar gabled porch with a south side entry and a two-light window beyond. The right side has a central projection for a toilet, which is partly extended, along with a three-light window and a single-light window to the left, and a three-light window and a two-light window to the right.

The rear of the house displays similar decorative timbering in the gable and features two bay windows. To the left, there is a square bay with a three-light window at the front and a single light on each side, while to the right, there is a canted bay with one three-light window, two single lights, and another one-light window. The property was not inspected at the time of the survey.
