Description
Crugiau Lodge is a small, single-storey lodge built in the early 19th century with a square plan. It is constructed from whitewashed rubble and features a pyramidal hipped slate roof with flat eaves. A large whitewashed rubble stack is located on the northern slope of the roof. The lodge has a single ogee-headed window facing the road, which includes a small-paned timber casement, Gothic glazing bars in the top light, a stone sill, and plain reveals. The northern wall that faces the drive is windowless, and there is a small flat-headed 20th-century half-glazed timber door set to the left, also with plain reveals. The lodge was extended to the rear in the 20th century. It was not inspected at the time of the survey.
