Description
Tanycastell is a 19th-century farmhouse constructed from rubble stone, featuring slate gabled roofs and stone end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-window main range, with a slightly lower two-window service range to the right. The main range includes a central six-panel timber door that is topped by a rectangular traceried overlight and is sheltered by a slate hood supported on slate brackets. The windows are horned four-pane sashes with slate sills, all featuring cambered heads and stone voussoirs. The service range has smaller, similar four-pane sashes, with two on each floor, and the upper ones are small and square. A large stone end stack is present, and there is a six-panel door with an overlight and hood on slate brackets located on the right gable end. The property was not available for inspection at the time of the survey.
