Description
Northumberland Farmhouse is a two-storey building constructed from cement-washed rubble stone, topped with a slate roof and featuring stone end stacks, which are larger on the right side. Both stacks were rebuilt in the late 20th century. The farmhouse has a three-window range, with 4-pane horned sash windows and a central door. The windows are adorned with stone voussoirs and slate sills. The door is from the 20th century and includes an overlight. There is a 20th-century lean-to on the left end and an outshut at the rear.
To the right of the farmhouse, there are several outbuildings. These include a lofted cart shed made of rubble stone and slate, which has a brick elliptical arch and a small loft window directly above it. Adjacent to this is a lower range that features a window, a door, and a blockwork addition. Further along is another range with a slightly higher roof, which includes double barn doors, a vent loop, and an additional door. The end wall of this range has a window on each floor, while the rear wall displays a straight joint indicating that the further end was added later. The property is not available for inspection.
