Description

The attached gateway north of Clyro Court Farmhouse is a stone screen-wall along the road, likely dating from the late medieval period but recently rebuilt. It features a wide chamfered and pointed archway with a flattened rere-arch, which used to provide access to the farmyard, although the ground level has since been raised significantly. The gateway is flanked by rubble piers that rise above capped parapets.
