Description

16 The Village is a cottage that possibly dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone and has one and a half storeys with a slate roof featuring three eaves dormers. The central ridge stack is made of both rubble and brick, while there is a rubble corner stack located at the front right of the building. The cottage has two boarded doors and various timber casements from the 19th and 20th centuries, with some blocked doors and windows visible. It is noted that number 16 used to be two separate cottages. The interior is said to retain older timbers.
